Use of the embroidery machines requires an orientation. Orientations are 2 hours long and cost $50. They cover machine operation, daily maintenance, and loading pre-digitized designs onto the machines. 

==== Digitizing Designs ====
Converting images and logos into embroidery files is not a simple process. It requires expensive software and expertise. The guild does not have a license for digitization software (~$1000 for a full digitization suite). We recommend finding a good digitization service on a site like Fiverr. 

Once you have a digitized design, you can transfer it to the embroidery computer with [[https://www.sharedrop.io/|ShareDrop]], which runs over the local network.
